
2026 Wedgwood International Seminar Recap
The 2026 Wedgwood International Seminar, held in England in April, was a resounding success, bringing together Wedgwood enthusiasts for an unforgettable week of learning, discovery, and fellowship. The Seminar began in London with exclusive curator-led visits to the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, where participants explored world-renowned ceramic collections and gained valuable insights from leading experts. A special highlight was a private visit to the Wedgwood and other ceramics collections at Windsor Castle, providing rare access to exceptional works in a remarkable historic setting.
The program continued in Staffordshire at the V&A Wedgwood Collection at the Wedgwood factory in Barlaston. Following the tremendous success of the 2026 Seminar in England, plans are already underway for the next Wedgwood International Seminar, to be held in Washington, DC, April 14-17, 2027. The program will feature engaging lectures by experts, visits to ceramic collections, and a unique opportunity to explore the rich connection between Wedgwood and American history. Highlights will include an excursion to Mount Vernon, access to a private collection, and other ceramic destinations in the Washington area. As always, the Seminar will offer abundant opportunities for learning, discovery, friendship, and fellowship among Wedgwood enthusiasts.
